We often show up to appointments and meetings dressed almost exactly the same, either BoHo Chic (grays, creams, whites with turquoise jewelry) or New York City Glam (all black with gold accessories and fire engine red lips). We always have a big laugh when we do that, though I’m sure some people think we’ve planned it, we’re just two sides of the same coin–which comes in handy when creating interiors. Today we thought it would be fun to pick out an outfit entirely from ALL SAINTS, the UK based clothing company that we adore in a major way.

Chinoiserie Lamp
This past weekend’s flea was filled with goodies in one of our favorite hues, orange. Pair this warm pop of color with neutral gray, varying shades of blue or even black and white interiors. Just imagine that beautiful Chinoiserie lamp above sitting above an uber modern black lacquered table. Mmm, yes please!

Orange art
In a neutral space, a colorful piece of art like this guy adds visual interest.

Orange cart
Turn this beautifully aged workshop cart into a bright kitchen island by adding a chopping block surface.

Edit.
Organizer, editor, space saving guru, or what we like to call her, our saving grace, Margaret Williams of Edit. has just launched her fab new website,
www.editspaces.com. This cool, yet meticulous lady has spruced up and cleaned out several of our clients’ closets and collections. Margaret will help with everything from streamlining a move, archiving your memorabilia, to wardrobe consultations. She is a priceless tool to help create a calm and well edited space…a perfect starting place for new furnishings!

Butler's Chair
We’ve rounded up some our our favorite side chairs. Endless options here! Whether paired with a sleek sofa or tucked in a corner of a cozy bedroom, these chairs would give personality to a myriad of spaces.

Asian Patent Leather Chairs
The shape! The patent leather! The low seat! What’s not to love?!!”

Fine Bargello Klismos Chairs
Not your grandmother’s needlepoint! We love the pairing of this chevron flame pattern with the turned Regency leg style.

Antique kilim covered slipper chair
We love the upholstering of this slipper chair in a vintage kilim rug. Would be brilliant in a bathroom or vanity.

ginger-syrup
Before the new year, we walked the One of a Kind show here in NYC. There was definitely a plethora of ahem,
interesting, products. But just as we were about to leave, we spotted a gem,
Morris Kitchen’s Ginger Syrup! Tyler and Kari Morris, the adorable Brooklyn brother-sister duo behind Morris Kitchen, started bottling the potent stuff after falling in love with ginger on a trek through the south of France. To use: add a teaspoon to club soda to make your own ginger ale, spice up a cup of tea or make our favorite summer cocktail, Ginga Fizz! (more to come on that later) You can find it at
Marlow & Daughters or
Urban Rustic.
Bottling syrup is not the only thing these talented siblings do, they also host an organic supper club. We are dying to get on the next guest list!
