Moroccan Chair
This past weekend, the flea market gods were shining down on us! At first glance, we knew this chair was destined to end up at Nicki’s. Even though that girl has NO room in her apartment, for $50, she’ll find a spot!

Peacock Table
Wowza Yowza! Don’t know if you all know, but Nicki has quite an obsession for birds. When we saw these two gorgeous tables, not only were we drooling over them–it was almost a throw down fight over who would get to take them home!

Trade School
Taking up residency at the Lower East Side’s revolving storefront Grand Opening, the
Trade School runs every day through the beginning of March providing multiple opportunities to barter basic services or goods in exchange for lessons in everything from “Composting” to “How to Make Butter”. Secure your spot by providing the teacher’s barter needs. We’re thinking the “Chinatown Collaborative Food Tour” is a must!

Asian headboard
We spotted this too-die-for antique Asian headboard at one of our favorite 25th street flea market vendors on Saturday. This piece, outfitted with gathered fabric and hung 3 1/2 to 4 feet above the bed, would create a super glam, yet sophisticated bed or simply hung low above a mattress to add dimension and interest to a modern space. Unfortunately, do to the lack of space in both of our apartments, we had to leave this killer headboard behind…will it be there next week?

Planet D
We stumbled across the amazing artist
David Nerwen at New York’s One of a Kind show. After 42 years in the printing and graphic design industry, Nerwen decided to devote his time solely to creating his abstract and geometrical tapestries on canvas. He hand stitches tapestry wool yarn onto canvas ranging in scale from 9” x 15” to 6’ x 6’. Look for more of Nerwen’s work soon–these gorgeous fiber-art wall hangings are destined to end up on a wall of one of our clients.
