My friend Katrina is one fit bicycling lady. Envious of her beautiful bike to work life in Austin, Texas (She works at Lance Armstrong’s Mellow Johnny’s bike shop) I asked her for tips on buying my own set of wheels. Her suggestion, a classic cruiser. Luckily for me, former graphic designer Julie Hirschfeld just opened Adeline Adeline, a design-oriented bike store in the heart of TriBeCa.

The shop, which opened three weeks ago, sells elegant Dutch-style city cycles from Abici, Biomega, Retrovelo, Linus, Pashley and Batavus. Prices start at $300 and quickly climb to $2,000. This is design in purest, most coveting form!
Oh boy, I can’t wait for the weather to warm up so I can take advantage of NYC’s 200 miles of bike-lanes.

Brunch is one of the best ways to hang with friends. During a delightful outside eating fest this weekend, I had one of the best bloody marys courtesy of McClure’s pickles. With a pickle brine base and plenty of garlic, their concoction is good enough to drink sans vodka. Get a quart-size jar of your McClure’s Bloody Mary Mix sold for $8 at Brooklyn Flea and mcclurespickles.com.

Snake Wall Panels
Some days in our search for the perfect piece for a client, we come across things that we add to our “if we had a million-bizillion dollars” file. Today, I almost spit out my coffee when I saw these. If only I had some extra cash money floating around here! I’m checking my sofa cushions now.
