For a couple of garden obsessed gals who must be content with window boxes and potted herbs instead of yards, we spent a lot of time marveling at all the beautiful, lush vegetation found all over LA. Here are a few things we loved.

After reading about Carey Mulligan’s recent trip to the Hashimoto Nursery in the latest issue of Vogue, we looked it up and off we went. We liked it so much we went back again.

Bouganvilla is one of our favorite flowering plants and we couldn’t resist this gorgeous hot pink bouganvilla tree, which we bought for our client to put in a gorgeous pot for her garden (and we thought it was a steal at $200!).

We loved the rows and rows of the different varieties of grasses. Hard to choose which one we loved the most.

Found these benches at this great shop on La Brea. Wouldn’t they add a wonderful bit of interest to any garden?

Big, gorgeous, white washed pots which we thought would be great with or without anything in them.
