Hampton’s Designer Showhouse: Tilton Fenwick

On Wednesday, we took a road trip out to Watermill, NY for a visit to the Hampton’s Designer Showhouse and to see the beautiful work of our great friends and amazingly talented designers Anne and Suysel of Tilton Fenwick.

The ladies transformed what was an awkward basement space into a serene, comfortable and useable space perfect for entertaining and relaxing. Masters of color, they infused the room with pops of cerulean blue, olive green and National Geographic yellow. We love the way they expertly mixed Asian, Hollywood Regency and natural elements…especially those horn chairs (OMG, we covet them).

Have to say, it was our favorite room in the house hands down!

Mara Hoffman Swim 2012

We love, love, love Mara Hoffman‘s 2012 collection of tribal-inspired swimwear and beachy frocks. Unfortunately, we won’t be able to get our hands on these covetable pieces until next year, but we can replicate the awesome double french braids that rocked her runway. Check out how to do it yourself here. It’s perfect for summer and these toasty days!

Wanderlust

We’ve caught the bug. The weather in NYC has been to die for this week, and we can’t get enough of being outside. The cool breeze and fluffy clouds though have fueled our strong desire to wander and explore the world. Here are some photos of places we are daydreaming to wake up to. Who’s coming with us?

Hot Weather Dressing

Today is supposed to be one of the hottest days this summer. All we want to do is stay cool and look good while running around town. When stumbled across this too die for image on the Sartorialist, we had to figure out where she found that dress.

As luck would have it, Oh Joy! posted about the fabulous Two kaftans and tunics. We found it..and now we want them! Take a look at some of their gorgeous summer dresses. We’ll take two please!

Let’s Go Shopping: Stamford, Connecticut

Before the July 4th holiday, we made our way through a mini monsoon to Stamford, Connecticut. Home to the fitting title, “Antique Capitol of America”, we found gems a plenty at places like the Antique and Artisan Center, Hamptons Antique Galleries and Greenwich Living Antiques. Take a look at some of our finds!
