Here is a mix to listen to as you finish wrapping your presents and making your holiday nog. Hope you all have a blessed holiday season and a very Happy New Year!
We are so smitten with the newly updated wing celebrating the Art of the Arab Lands, Turkey, Iran, Central Asia, and Later South Asia, recently unveiled in November, that we have already been back twice. A beautifully conceived and executed space, the fifteen galleries contain many wonderful examples of the art of this region of the world: intricate textiles, ceramics, vibrant works on paper, exquisite jewelry, Persian rugs, metal work, and much more! Here is a short video which showcases the lengths the Met Museum went to in creating the space, as well as a few of our favorite pieces from the collection currently on display.

A few months ago we shared pictures of The Great American Woody created in collaboration with our good friends at MOORE & GILES, the brilliant mixologist Jim Meehan, and the fantastically talented Brad Ford.
The Great American Woody is now being auctioned off as a part of DIFFA’s “30 for 30” auction on charitybuzz.com. The goal is to raise as much money as possible to support DIFFA’s groundbreaking work in the fight against AIDS. This auction will close Monday, December 19th.
We hope you’ll take a look and…if you purchase the Woody…we’re looking forward to drinks. Cheers!

How great is this?! A pen called Slobproof that you can fill with whatever paint color–be it walls or trim–you have in your home. So instead of lugging out the messy and awkward paint can any time you need to do light touchups, you simply use this handy little pen instead. We’re ordering them for ourselves and our clients ASAP!

It’s just the second week of December and we’re already sick of hearing bad new Christmas music (what happened to the classics?!) as we run from shop to shop for clients. Enter French Vogue’s supremely cool editor-in-chief Emmanuelle Alt who has created a killer mix of tunes–everything from Robert Palmer to Elvis– to save the day. For all of December, she will unveil a new tune to bring Festivus to the rest of us. Enjoy!
