Blogging Blues…
A confession. We’re not really bloggers.
And while we’re on a confessional streak, let’s also say that we aren’t very good at being active on Twitter or Facebook either. We try, but on any given week (or month for that matter) we find ourselves distracted by work, deadlines, or just life in general and, when push comes to shove, the ‘social media’ aspect of our business definitely gets the shove. Never is this more apparent than when we read people that truly are dedicated bloggers. So with a wee bit of chagrin, we hate to admit that we missed Lisa Borgnes Giramonti’s post from A Bloomsbury Life post back in May.

When we spied Lisa at Marayam Montague’s book signing for Marrakesh by Design in Los Angeles last month we made a beeline for her and introduced ourselves. Sometimes, when life is at its best, you meet someone and they are even better in person than on the page. That is the case with Lisa. We’ve been devoted fans of her blog (and her amazing artwork) for a long time and when we ‘pounced’ on her a Maryam’s signing she couldn’t have been any more gracious. We wanted to stay all day and talk with her and Maryam but sadly work called. So before leaving promises were made for future visits, either in NYC or in Los Angles, and we can’t wait to take up where this conversation left off. Life is good…(and we promise to try harder with blogging, FB, Pinterest, Twitter).

You are all amazing women!!
