Mara Hoffman Swim 2012

We love, love, love Mara Hoffman‘s 2012 collection of tribal-inspired swimwear and beachy frocks. Unfortunately, we won’t be able to get our hands on these covetable pieces until next year, but we can replicate the awesome double french braids that rocked her runway. Check out how to do it yourself here. It’s perfect for summer and these toasty days!

Hot Weather Dressing

Today is supposed to be one of the hottest days this summer. All we want to do is stay cool and look good while running around town. When stumbled across this too die for image on the Sartorialist, we had to figure out where she found that dress.

As luck would have it, Oh Joy! posted about the fabulous Two kaftans and tunics. We found it..and now we want them! Take a look at some of their gorgeous summer dresses. We’ll take two please!

Summer Dressing

As the temperature rises here in the city, we have to dress to stay cool when we hit the streets. Inspired by the effortless elegance found in Assouline’s Gypset Style by Julia Chaplin, this summer our mission is to look as chic as possible without melting; so we are stocking up on vintage and new kaftans.

Santa Monica Airport Antiques Mart

While in LA, Sunday mornings are our designated flea market days. The Santa Monica Airport Antiques Market took place the weekend we were there. We found a gorgeous standing lamp for a client and some amazing vintage dresses and kimonos for ourselves. Check out some of our favorite finds!
