Andrew Michael Geller

Andrew Michael Geller’s love of nature’s beauty helped mold him into one of the greatest architects of our time. As chief architectural designer and vice president of Raymond Loewy Associates in New York, he helped design NYC’s Lever House, Macy’s Department Stores and Lord & Taylor. But, it was his summer houses in the Hamptons and Fire Island that started our obsession. Geller’s designs were economical, easy to construct, and easy to seal up at the end of the season. The houses defined a new era of modernism on the beach.

Dangers Ahead

The internet is scary place…especially, when we spend all day trolling the ethers in search of beautiful things. Recently, I came across the most amazing collection of obsession-worthy jewels from Erstwhile Jewelry. Owner J.S. Klusner scours the globe for rare one-of-a-kind pieces everything from 9th century Victorian, turn of the century Edwardian, French Art Nouveau & Deco, and 40s retro. Find his coveting pieces online or by appointment only here.

On the Hunt

The New Year is in full swing and we are off and running around town shopping for clients new and old. It’s FREEZING here in NYC but the long days of hitting the pavement are paying off. Look at some of our finds below!

Gorgeous Asian plates from McGuire’s showroom.

Traditional African stools gone glam at Tucker Robbins.

Inlaid bone and shell dressers at ABC Home.

Year in Review

As the year comes to a close and we shut up shop for some much needed rest over the holiday season, we thought we’d share some of the things that didn’t make it into a post this year…but that we loved anyway. Whether we were inspired by them, or they just made us smile, here are some of our favorite images from 2010, in no particular order.
